The wise teacher and his student - moral story
The wise teacher, his student and the farmer
Once upon a time, a wise teacher was walking with one of his students in the wide fields, suddenly, they saw an old shoe, it was for a farmer who took it off to rest his feet while eating his lunch.
The student turned to his teacher and said, "Let's hide this farmer's shoes and see what he is going to do!."
" My son, we must not amuse ourselves at the expense of the poor, you are rich and you can be happy in another way. What do you think if you put a little money in the shoes and then we hide and look at the reaction of the farmer?" the wise teacher said.
The student liked his teacher's suggestion and immediately put the money in the shoes, then hid with his teacher behind the trees to see the farmer's reaction.
Minutes later, the farmer came back to put his shoes on, he was surprised by something inside, he extended his hand and took out the money and did the same thing in the other shoe and took out the money as well.
He got down on his knees and raised his hands to heaven and said: Thank you, God, for knowing that my children are hungry, this is enough money to buy plenty of food.
Then the wise teacher turned to his student and said to him: "Aren't you now happier, what if we made your first suggestion?!"
